Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Second Season 09

Gundam 00 Second Season 09 - Ali and the Arche Gundam face off against the 00 and the Seravee. Tieria figures out that Ali is the pilot based on Setsuna's reaction and the Arche's appearance. Ali reveals that he survived despite having half of his body badily burnt, and now he is back to finish his business with Setsuna and Celestial Being. Both Tieria and Setsuna are eager to take out the enemy, but Ali's skills and his new Gundam's capabilities prove to be too great. The Arche gains an advantage despite the 1 on2 handicap, but it is forced to retreat when the Cherudim and Arios arrive on the scene.

Seravee: Surprise! I've got a sword in my knee.

Arche: Oh yeah? I got swords on my feet, and I can hold off both of you losers!

Back at the party mansion, Ribbons, Regene, and Hilling have a discussion about Tieria and Celestial Being. Ribbons doesn't care if Tieria doesn't join them, and he believes that letting Celestial Being fight on i s a good thing for A-LAWS since the continued fighting gives A-LAWS a reason to expand. Regene is somewhat concerned about the 00 and its Twin Drive system, but Ribbons dismisses the concern, saying that the 00's capability is inferior to the Gadessa as Revive will soon demonstrate.

On a highway somewhere, Hong Long is driving Wang Liu Mei back to her residence. Wang comments to herself that the conflict between Celestial Being and the Innovators will make the change she desires happen even faster. Meanwhile, Louise and Andrei are returning to their carrier via a jet. After checking that Louise is doing okay, Andrei walks away and goes through all of information he has learned about Louise in his mind. Back in the cabin, Louise thinks Setsuna and how Billy accused him of being a member of Celestial Being. Louise suddenly notices a red flash flying past the window and recognizes that it was Graham's Custom Ahead flying by.

On the Ptolemaios, Sumeragi announces to the crew that they are going to go back into space, because she predicts that A-LAWS will find them very soon. If they wait any longer than A-LAWS will have them surrounded. Other reasons for going back to space are that the Gundams are in need of repairs, and there is also the support craft that should be retrieved. With the bridge crew in agreement, Sumeragi orders Feldt and Mileina plot the launch course. Elsewhere on the ship, Setsuna tells Saji about his meeting with Louise and reveals that Louise was asking about Saji. Their conversation is interrupted when Tieria and Lockon walk into the area, and Tieria tells Lockon that the pilot of the strange Gundam is the person who killed his brother. As Hallelujah and Marie walk into the room, Lockon asks Tieria to explain everything in detail.

Kati and Revive have a little fun at Arba's expense.

On the A-LAWS carrier ship, Kati, Arba, and Revive are in the middle of strategic meeting when they receive news of Andrei and Louise's return. Arba is explaining his plan of using six Trilobites to find the Ptolemaios. When asked about air support, Arba states that two squads should be enough. Revive disagrees with the plan, stating that since the enemy ship probably has the ability to launch into space on its own. Kati agrees with Revive's observation and notes the existence of the Trans-Am system may help the enemy launch into space. Kati and Revive agree that setting aside a squadron in space would be a good idea, and Revive proceeds to make fun of Arba's plan. When Arba gets angry, Revive reveals that he has special permission from the higher-ups just like Graham. Unlike Graham however, Revive tells Kati that he is willing to follow her commands, and this makes Arba even more angry.

Back on the Ptolemaios, Lockon has finished hearing the others' explanation about his brother's death. To Tieria's surprise, Lockon doesn't seem very fired up about going after Ali. On the contrary, Lockon states that his family's death at the hands of Ali's terrorist organization happened so long ago and there's no point feeling angry about it now. Setsuna steps in and asks if Lockon can still feel so carefree if the people responsible for his family death are standing right in front of him. Setsuna goes on to explain his past as a KPSA (Ali's terrorist cell) member and states that he could have prevented the attack that killed Lockon's family. After hearing Setsuna's story, Lockon states that they shouldn't dwell on the past and should focus on fighting for the future instead. Lockon words touches something in Tieria's mind, who then takes his leave.

Spyshot on Mr. Bushido's new ride.

At a Federation Base, Billy gets a visit from Graham, who is asking about the mobile suit Billy is developing for him. Graham wants the fastest speed and the strongest blade for his new mobile suit. Billy agrees and in exchange wants Graham to use his new mobile suit to exterminate Celestial Beings. Meanwhile, the A-LAWS carrier out in the Arabian Sea has started its operation against Celestial Being. Both Andrei and Louise checks out the Gadessa as the mobile suit squads fly into the air. Patrick is wants to impress Kati with his performance, while Revive wonders how Celestial Being will react to A-LAWS battle plan.

In the Ptolemaios, Setsuna finds Tieria standing near a viewing window. Tieria is still trying to collect his thoughts about his meetings with Regene and Ribbons. Setsuna asks Tieria about his discovery in the last mission, but before Tieria can answer the ship goes on alert. The six A-LAWS Trilobites have discovered the Ptolemaios and are moving into intercept. In the bridge of the Ptolemaios, all of the crew are already dressed in their space suits and ready for launch. As the Trilobites fire their torpedoes, Sumeragi asks the Cherudim, Arios, and Seravee to engage their Trans-Am systems. The GN particles from the Gundams are routed to the Ptolemaios, which uses the output to form a shield and charge towards the surface.

The Ptolemaios puts on a fireworks display for its fans (the A-LAWS) as it bids farewell.

The Ptolemaios breaks the water surface and streaks towards the sky. On the Federation carrier, Arba is surprised that the enemy would actually attempt to launch off of Earth, while Kati orders her orbital reinforcements to get ready. Louise, Andrei, Patrick, and the rest of the A-LAWS mobile suit give chase and fire their weapons at the Ptolemaios, but none of the shots are able to penetrate the ship's GN field. The Ptolemaios returns fire with some missiles, and several A-LAWS mobile suit including Patrick's are shot down. The Ptolemaios escape its first wave of pursuers and reaches low orbit, but Revive and the Gadessa are there waiting for its arrival. The Gadessa fires its giant beam cannon and hits the Ptolemaios. The Ptolemaios is undamaged because of its GN field, but Gadessa's blast changed the ship's launch trajectory. Now the Ptolemaios is heading towards an A-LAWS cruiser and its squad of mobile suits, all according to Kati's calculations.

Mobile suits and their giant guns...

00 to Gadessa: My blasters aren't as large as yours, but I've got two of them.

The Trans-Am systems on the Gundams deactivate and the Ptolemaios starts receiving damage from the enemy mobile suits and cruiser. After seeing the GN field on the Ptolemaios has deactivated, the A-LAWS commander on the cruiser orders his forces to advance. However, the 00 suddenly appears from the side and takes out two of the A-LAWS mobile suits. The A-LAWS commander realizes that the 00 was dropped off somewhere during the launch into space, but this realization comes to late as the 00 takes out the cruiser with its blasters. The rest of A-LAWS mobile suits retreat after losing their commander and the cruiser. After the battle has ended, the Ptolemaios receives a transmission from Kati expressing her respect for Kujo's tactics. Upon reading that message, Sumeragi remembers who Kati is and comes to the conclusion that she still can't escape her past no matter how hard she tries.

The O-Raizer is a cool-looking plane, but how exactly will it make the 00 invincible?

Back at A-LAWS headquarters, Homer Katagiri receives news of the outcome of the battle and decides to ask the Innovators more support. Inside the L3 asteroid base, Ian and his wife Linda make their way towards the 00's support craft, the O-Raizer. Ian states that 00 will be invincible with the O-Raizer's support.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A very nice episode of those of us who are watching mainly because of the mecha. In this episode we saw the Arche and Gadessa in action, and we also got sneak peeks at Graham's new ride and the O-Raizer. Ali and the Arche prove to be quite the combination as expected, and Innovator's new Gundam manhandled the Seravee and 00 in their short scuffle. The Seravee did give us one surprise which was the arm in the knee thing. I don't remember any of the mobile suit in the Gundam multi-verse doing having a hidden arm in its knee, so that's gotta be something original. In terms for the Gadessa, we didn't see it do much other than shoot its big beam cannon, but it'll probably prove to be a tough fight for the Celestial Being Gundams as well.
As for Graham, I'm not too sure if he's asking Billy to tweak his current Ahead and tweak his new mobile suit. The subs I was watching was little sketchy on the issue, but I'm leaning towards the second scenario. Graham hasn't totaled his Ahead yet, but I guess he just wants something faster and with a bigger sword. Sword and speed is Mr. Bushido's style after all.
Now we come upon the O-Raizer. The main questions about this support craft are 1) What can it do? 2) How does it make the 00 "invincible" as per Ian's comment? and 3) Who's going to pilot it? The O-Raizer has a cockpit, so I'm assuming somebody has to pilot it. Saji seems to be the a likely candidate, or maybe Ian? It doesn't make much sense for Marie to pilot the 00's support craft, so she's not in the running. Perhaps the craft will be remote controlled or something. We don't know yet.
Finally, from the previews it looks like another new mobile suit is going to show up (Yay!). We'll aslo see Nena Trinity doing something other than being Want Liu Mei's errand girl, which will be interesting as well.
At first i thought the 0 razier look meteor(gundam seed and seed destiny) to me, well if u say a pilot, hmm i think saji probably suited for the job. Ya ali ali was showing off then running away after thinking he could not have advantage. If the 0 razier does make it better, then i looking forward between bushido new gundam VS 00 with razier. Actually i had perfer ian stabilize the 00 drive system so that it can be 100% and having trans am on without trouble. I looking forward to the preview whos hair is purple. O and btw, bushido was requesting that new(prototype, his) gundam to be equipeed with fastest speed and strongest sword.
Oh yeah that's right, Ian mentioned something about the O-Raizer making the 00's output more stable. Forgot about that haha. Yeah, I don't know who the purple-haired person is in the preview. Oh yeah, I kinda figured out that Mr. Bushido was talking about his new mobile suit, since the prototype looks nothing like the Ahead he has right now if you compare photo. Thanks for the tip anyways though.
