This in-action version of this Gundam design plus the Gundam's pilot. The pilot is one of them blond haired, blue eyed ace pilots, which may or may not imply something in the Gundam universe.
The work is a pencil sketch lined and then coloured in Photoshop. Probably the best job I've done in terms of colouring stuff even though it's still a little messy (because I'm lazy :D). And in case you are wondering, the Gundam is other leg is bent at such an angle that it's hidden behind the pilot's body. In other words I was too lazy to draw the other leg too... or properly render the asteroids in the background for that matter. Still this probably one of the best things I've ever drawn up to this point.

ReplyDeleteMy only complaint to it would be the guys head. It seems to stand out alot more than the rest of the image. Even with lazyness, thats still pretty impressive.
Thanks :). Yeah the guy's head is too light compared to the rest of image cauz I colored the guy before doing the gundam and background.
ReplyDeleteThe helmet and the suit looks very similar to the 1 in FMP haha. Although i guess it mostly look like that. The mecha and human is great but i find the shield a bit not fitted, i prefer some electronic or laser shield or something although thats personal preference haha.
ReplyDeletelol yeah energy shields are nicer, but a solid shield is more traditional hehe.
