Uh... Luke, I am your father?
Summary:
Ichigo powers out of Bach's grip with an explosion. Bach survives with a burnt arm and notes that trapping Ichigo in a Quincy prison was not the smart thing to do as it awakened Ichigo's latent Quincy abilities. Bach then states that Ichigo doesn't know the truth about his mother and plans to drag Ichigo back to the Vandenreich to re-educate him. After a short exchange, Bach manages to grab Ichigo once again and is about to stab Ichigo, but suddenly Bach is stopped in his tracks. Bach's second in command Hasch Wald tells Bach that he can't stay out of the shadow territory anymore and needs to return to the Vandenreich, and Bach realizes that Aizen had messed with his perception. Bach and Wald open a portal and are about leave. Ichigo tries to give chase but Wald draws his sword and breaks Ichigo's blade. Before walking into the darkness, Bach calls Ichigo his "son" and states that he'll come get Ichigo later.

The main hero breaks out of jail, learns instant teleport, and then gets easily handled by the main bad guy who then leaves because he's out of time? Only in Bleach. So like a lot of people had guessed, it looks like Ichigo has Quincy powers through his mother's side. Bach calls Ichigo his "son", but that may only be figuratively if Bach refers to the Quincies as his "children". Ichigo needs a shinigami dad so that's where Isshin comes in. Of course, if Ichigo is really Bach's son instead... lol reminds me of Darth Vader and the Empire Strikes Back. Let's hope that's not the case. The only good spot was the Aizen already managed to mess with Bach. I can't believe I am saying this, but I hope Aizen comes back and genjutsus those Vandenreich fools.

I am just going to assume until proven otherwise that the whole "My Son" comment is more of a metaphorical thing.... Then again this is Bleach and Kudo does like to Troll.
ReplyDeleteYeah I am seriously starting to fall back on my theory that Ichigo is actually the end result of some giant experiment to combine Soul Reaper and Hollow and now Quincy Powers into one being. Probably perpetrated by Kiuske.... Then agin perhaps I am just thinking to hard for this manga.
Also this does kind of explain how Ichigo's and Ishida's dads know eachother so well.... Does this mean that Ishida and Ichigo are like cousins or something?
Whatever I am just going to site back and like you hope that Aizen starts to Troll Vandenreich some more.
Given this is Bleach, the conspiracy theory is more plausible than we think.
DeleteThis was all an elaborate plot to destroy Soul Society from the inside, having Isshin, Urahara, Bach, Aizen, Uryuu conspiring to create the one super being that had all the powers that could take on the Soul King. Ichigo will realize that he was being used and will initially refuse to take part in it. In the end, he does the very thing he was born to do because plot (by plot I mean one of the females gets captured, maybe his sisters this time), giving his life doing so. Fast forward 500 years or so, we see Ichigo reincarnated in Soul Society and begins his life once more with no memories, meeting Captain Rukia Kuchiki for the 'first' time. The End.
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm going to quote your comment if the story really goes that way.
DeleteThis is actually genius. It might just go down like this...
Delete"So like a lot of people had guessed, it looks like Ichigo has Quincy powers through his mother's side."
ReplyDeleteIt was just a dumb theory for the sake of being funny. The fact that it may be true is astonishing and Kubo is watching us.
Maybe he is. Maybe he's not. We'll never know.
DeleteNothing is a dumb theory when it comes to Bleach, where anything can happen hahahahaha.
Ichigo gets owned in that short battle. I wonder what was the significance of Bach's word to Ichigo about him being his son. We shall await and see
ReplyDeleteI think Juha Bach is his real father and his mother was shinigami..thats how the combination of quincy - shinigami came to him..
